Knoxville, Tenn., October 31, 2023… Magnum Venus Products (MVP), a global manufacturer of fluid movement and production solutions for industrial applications, is proud to introduce its latest innovation, the Independent Pump Drive System (IPD System). This revolutionary system is set to redefine precision material dispensing, offering unparalleled accuracy and flexibility for a wide range of industrial applications, including automated and robotic processes. The system, which will be available early 2024, will be at CAMX in the MVP booth (Y14) for demonstration.

The Independent Pump Drive System (IPD System) is an innovative design comprising a PLC controller, a main hydraulic unit, and MVP’s precision fluid sections. When combined, this system has the capability to meticulously mix and meter up to six different components at a range of rates, setting new standards for precision in material dispensing.

Operating the IPD System is straightforward. Simply input your desired ratios for each material, set the desired dispensing rate, and watch as the system precisely meters each component, ensuring consistent and reliable results.

Key Features of the Independent Pump Drive System (IPD System) include:

  • Customizable: The IPD System is designed to adapt to your unique requirements. Independently driven fluid sections allow for custom ratios, on-the-fly adjustments, recipe-based programs, and integration with external source controls, such as robotics and other automated equipment.
  • Unmatched Precision: The IPD System is engineered to provide unparalleled precision. It can meter multiple ratios with an accuracy of +/- 1%, ensuring your material dispensing is consistently on target.
  • Main Hydraulic Power Source: The IPD System utilizes hydraulic power, negating the need for a large volume of air to operate. This feature is particularly advantageous for mobile operations or scenarios where compressed air is scarce. The hydraulic oil cooler ensures that the unit can operate for extended periods at higher pressures without overheating, while precision analog controllers maintain precise hydraulic flow for operation and control.
  • PLC Control and Monitoring: The system’s PLC control allows for real-time, user-configurable rate control for each fluid section. A large 10″ HMI screen provides easy access to a single-page display that monitors all aspects of the injection process, including rate, ratio, temperature, and pressure. The system also offers high-capacity data log and recipe storage, with the ability to program recipes offline via USB or FTP and retrieve data logs via FTP, email, USB drive, or cloud storage. Additionally, remote control via Wi-Fi is possible through iOS and Android apps, allowing for seamless monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Options: The IPD System can be further enhanced with a range of optional features, including flow meters, pressure transducers, thermocouples, heated hoses, transfer/feed pumps for high viscosity materials, solvent/air purge systems, custom mix/dispense heads, and external communication capabilities, enabling data exchange with external devices such as robotic arms for start/stop, alarms, and on-the-fly ratio adjustments.

The IPD System will be available for purchase in early 2024. The system will be in the MVP booth (Y14) at CAMX for display and demonstration. Stop by and visit us to learn more, or email [email protected]. [email protected].
