Meet Charles Tur, Our Closed Molding Specialist

Central to MVP’s success in closed molding consultation is Charles Tur, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the Composites Industry. Charles has pioneered advanced processes like Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) in France since 1984. His innovative methods continue to influence industry practices to this day.

Charles Tur’s extensive background includes founding “All Composites Construction” in 1987, where he produced 50-foot ULDB sailboats, using vacuum composite techniques. He later worked for composites distributors, having close relation with suppliers for product development.

“I’ve learned more in 3 days than all my own independent research.” -Charles Wilhite

From 1998 to 2004, Charles was a key member of Chomarat, providing technical support and global sales for injection mat. He also introduced the LRTM process worldwide. In 2005, he launched “Ardeche Composites Consulting,” offering independent services such as technical support, feasibility studies, and production optimization.

Since joining MVP in 2007 as a Closed Mold Specialist, Charles has conducted workshops worldwide and developed new processes such as FlexMolding and Fast Flow LRTM, always prioritizing customer production requirements. His expertise includes consultation, installation, training, and problem-solving for international distributors and customers. Charles is based in the South of France and works at MVP’s International Training Center.
