Thermoplastic Resin Comes to Poland

Flex Molding Process, the only comprehensive infusion package that incorporates all of the systems, accessories, consultation and training in one place, has begun to make inroads with manufacturers in Poland.

This week, Magnum Venus Products demonstrated the next step in efficient, environmentally friendly closed molding at the Kompozyt Expo Krakow 2014 in Krakow, Poland.

MVP RTM/Infusion Technical Specialist Charles Tur was on hand in the MVP-Polska booth to conduct live demonstrations of the latest in injection technology and materials. Using the new Elium® Thermosplasitc resin from Arkema, MVP infused a part using the system designed specifically to process this kind of material – the new Patriot™ Pro Thermoplastic Injection System.

Over the course of 30 minutes, Mr. Tur explained the technology behind integrating simple, efficient accessories directly with the injection system, as well as the added benefits of using a thermoplastic resin.

MVP was proud to work in partnership with Arkema in the development of this injection system, and on the demos in Krakow.

Response from those who atte nded the demonstrations was very positive, and MVP-Polska has already spoken with customers interested in bringing this technology and process into their production.
