Two and four-axis filament winding continues to be an area of steady growth for MVP Motion, the advanced automation division of Magnum Venus Products. At this year’s CAMX, the veteran company will be spotlighting its advanced winding capabilities, technical and engineering expertise, and new in-house fabrication facility – already up and delivering tailored solutions that integrate with – and improve upon – composite production processes. CAMX runs September 21 to 24 in Atlanta, GA.

New Fabrication Capabilities

With expanded facilities now open in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, MVP embarks on a new era of large-scale filament winding fabrication, bringing another phase of the production process in-house for greater flexibility and control. The new fabrication shop allows MVP to go from engineering drawings to final build all under one roof, giving our customers a more streamlined experience geared to meet the individual needs of manufacturers in the aerospace, infrastructure, and energy sectors, among others.

Your Gelcoat, on Nitrogen

Nitrowise powered by MVP

MVP will also be introducing CAMX attendees to Nitrowise Fluid Carrier Systems. These advanced nitrogen generators are supercharging gelcoat operations across the globe, helping manufacturers achieve a superior finish while saving big on time, labor, and material.

The Nitrowise system takes compressed air and converts it to heated, ionized nitrogen, removing static and turbulence to produce a full, smooth, and even spray pattern. Integrating it into your line is plug-and-play easy and the impact on your gelcoat process is felt immediately – improving application, coverage, and speed. The results are cumulative too, eliminating rework, reducing overspray and emissions, and saving gelcoat material by up to 30%.

It’s a business case that virtually makes itself, and we’re excited to bring Nitrowise to CAMX and the US composites market.
