Magnum Venus Products (MVP) enjoyed a tremendous 2017. From growing our presence as an industry leader to developing new products and participating in premier industry events around the world, the team at MVP could not be more pleased with the past year. In appreciation for all of our valued customers and industry partners, we’d like to take a quick moment to review 2017 as we look ahead to 2018 with optimism and excitement.

  • JEC 2017 was held in March in Paris, France: MVP was extremely proud to participate in the largest composites show in the world. JEC 2017 covered the whole composites value chain from raw material to processors and final products. Many of the innovative systems that MVP has created were on display, including both the Patriot 10:1 55 Gallon Low-Flow Adhesives System and the Innovator Pro. The most exciting part of the entire MVP experience was the production of a ready-to-use kayak right in the booth, showcasing MVP’s unique closed mold products.
  • MVP joined the new Composites Coalition: The building materials of the future are being developed today in Innovation Valley. The Composites Coalition is a new initiative designed to leverage the collective strengths of the region and brand the area as a prime location for advanced composites companies. Many of them already call Innovation Valley home. Magnum Venus Products, Techmer PM, Local Motors, Cirrus Aircraft, Del Conca USA, LeMond Composites, HTS International and Lifetime Products are just a few of the firms operating in the advanced materials sector in the region.
  • CAMX 2017 was held December 12 – 14, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. This expo offered its 8,000 attendees the unique opportunity to see the latest in the strengths and innovations of the composites industry. MVP was very excited to participate, and showcased numerous products and an array of different processes, namely adhesive, gel coat, and chopping equipment. Visitors to the booth also had the chance to check out a carbon fiber winder and the unveiling of the cartridge filling station!
  • Cartridge Filling Station: In 2017, Magnum Venus Products released a cartridge filling station. “This new product allows the adhesive user to have the convenience of cartridge autonomy while also receiving the benefit of buying adhesives in bulk. It allows the user to refill cartridges, which will save on waste and decrease production times,” explained Peter Hedger of Magnum Venus Products. The new product also offers “a simple, easier user interface to control a large, rather complicated machine.”

MVP is the premier manufacturer of composite application equipment. MVP products consist of pumping systems, spray guns, filament winding systems, and much more.
