MVP Service Extends Far Beyond Their Valued Customers

Service is a core organizational pillar at MVP. In fact, developing personal relationships and providing customers with quality products and support is the foundation upon which MVP has stood for over 60 years. And these strong values extend beyond MVP’s customers, reaching out and touching neighborhoods and communities as well.

Philanthropy is very much a part of the MVP culture, and demonstrating appreciation for the community at large by supporting and helping those in need has become an ingrained business philosophy. Indeed, aside from the donations given at the corporate level, MVP’s owners and shareholders readily designate a specific amount to be donated to charity every year, and encourage each of their four locations to go above and beyond to give back in their local areas as well.

Midwest Distribution Center – Goshen, Indiana
The Midwest MVP service center is extremely active in supporting numerous local organizations. Through ongoing donations and volunteer efforts, this service center has made a positive impact both locally and in surrounding communities by supporting The Salvation Army, The Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Faith Mission of Elkhart, Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Indiana Sheriff’s Association, World Missionary Press, Hope Ministries of South Bend, Five Star Life, and the Well Foundation.

Manufacturing and Technology Center – Kent, Washington
On the west coast, the Kent-based MVP team is also dedicated to generously supporting their region. The Washington office actively assists Community Youth Services, a United Way affiliate organization that sponsors over 20 youth programs designed to benefit the next generation, and promotes health and wellness in the area through Cancer Care Northwest, a non-profit organization providing life-saving cancer treatment since 1975.

East Coast Distribution Center – Knoxville, Tennessee
The efforts from the MVP East Coast Distribution Center are also making a difference in numerous lives by providing aide to both individuals and the broader community. The Knoxville-based group supports local and far-reaching organizations such as the Legacy Park Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Knox Area Rescue Ministries, and Knoxville Ambassadors.

Southeast Distribution Center – Oldsmar, Florida
In Florida, MVP is making a huge impact on a local level through their efforts with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay. SCTB is a network of community-based, non-profit agencies engaged in outreach support assisting families living in poverty, as well as the working poor, by providing the vital necessities and education that is essential to fostering healthy and prosperous neighborhoods.

In addition, MVP recently made special donations to help the My People Fund and the American Red Cross in their efforts to provide assistance to those areas affected by the Gatlinburg wildfires. Another donation was also given to the Arnold Palmer Memorial Children’s Fund to deliver critical medical care to youths in need.

MVP’s tradition of generosity and service to the community is as important as their dedicated service to their valued customers. When local and wider communities are in need, MVP is there to lend not one, but many helping hands.
