Air Ejector

The MVP mould air ejector has many advanced features which are not found in competitive units.
Designed specifically to instantly lock and seal into MVP's universal fitting. Universal fittings are now common throughout the mould and the Universal Air Ejector can now be moved and installed at any position a universal fitting is sited.

When the mould is out of use between injection runs the air ejector can be easily unlocked and removed to serve another mould which is in production, thus a saving is made in that this unique design eliminates the need to buy and install an air ejector for every mould.
The internal compact spring design keeps the air ejector firmly closed until operated to eject. This may also be secured for optimum sealing performance with an additional air signal.
In operation the air ejector centre port is energized with air which provides the necessary air ejection of the part from the mould face. The precision centre face of the air ejector moves back from the moulded part by only 0.5mm to allow air release between the mould and part faces.

A dummy Universal locking plug is also available and provides the user with yet another saving.

Multiple ejector points are not uncommon in large product moulds such as boat hulls and it is now possible to have all but one installed with a air ejector. The others would be sealed and locked closed with the Universal dummy plug. As these and the air ejector can be plugged and unplugged so easily it is a simple exercise to move the active air ejector to different mould ejection points and operate a safe and controlled sequential ejection of the part without the cost of multiple Ejectors.
