This unit can be configured to suit Polyester / Vinylester, Phenolic or Epoxy filled or unfilled resin systems.

Megaject MkV Polyester Autohead – 5cc Stainless Steel slave pump – Part Ref 5818AUTO

• Suitable for mixing and injecting Polyester, Vinylester and Methacrylate resin systems. The catalyst ratio can be infinitely adjusted from 0.5% to 3.5%.
• Head auto valves include valve position indicators.
• Built in pneumatic interlocks on both auto head valves provide guaranteed monitorinand security, by preventinthe possibility of machine operation without resin or catalyst flow.
• Internal interlocks on both auto head valves prevent the possibility of solvent gettinto the mould when flushinthe machine head.
• Resin Gel Alarm system (RGA) provides intelligent visual and audible alarm conditions durinand after machine injection.
• Battery powered with low battery power alarm.
• Pre-determined counter (PDC), with a count rate of every 100cc. When the pre-determined count is reached the machine stops automatically.
• Mould Pressure Guard (MPG). This feature allows the operator to pre- determine nozzle injection pressure from 0.5 - 8 bar. In operation the MPwill control the output pressure regardless of the machine pressure setting, such that the nozzle pressure will not exceed the pre-determined safe level. Controls are mounted on the control panel.
• Complete 2 stream mixinhead with standard static mixer element, air/solvent/air cleaning system and head start button.
• 4m umbilical to head with industrial tough flexible chemically resistant protection.
• Heavy-duty ratio arms with precision roller bearinfulcrums.
• Ratios manually adjusted usinlow friction lead screws.
• 100cc Primary Resin Pump with inlet hose and filter suitable for a 200kdrum.
• Full instrumentation and control panel, housed in steel lockable cabinet.
• Gel timer with alarm and alarm volume control.
• Timed solvent flush of machine head (cancels gel timer).
• Air purge and head dry out control.
• Safe, 20lt heavy-duty non-pressurised polypropylene solvent tank featurinsubmersed (SP-3) solvent pump system. Safely positioned, the frame mounted tank offers visual level indication without the need to remove the tank lid.
• Highly efficient solvent/air emulsifier ensurinlower solvent consumption per head flush.
• Emergency stop, air failure machine shutdown with safe automatic restart on reset.
• Machine guards complyinwith CE Machinery Directive regulations.
• 8 litre catalyst bottle with filtered inlet line.

NOTE:
The Polyester AutoHead machine described above is only suitable for use with Polyester, Vinylester and Methacrylate resin systems.
Should you wish to retain the option of changing the pump over to use Phenolic or Epoxy resins in the future; then the manual head Megaject MkV should be considered.

Megaject MkV Epoxy
Part Refs: 2:1 Catalyst Pump Ratio = 5819 OR 1:1 Catalyst Pump Ratio = 5820
Suitable for mixing and injecting Epoxy resin systems. The Hardener ratio can be infinitely adjusted from 8% to 100% when using either: 50cc secondary Hardener pump (2:1) 8% - 50% 100cc pump (1:1) 20% - 100%

20cc Stainless Steel slave pump – Part Ref: 5821
Suitable for mixing and injecting Phenolic resin systems. - The catalyst ratio can be infinitely adjusted from 3% to 20%.
