Magnum Venus Plastech is pleased to introduce the newest system in the MVP Product Line - The Patriot™ 1:1 Adhesive & Sealant Chop Check System.
This system operates at a fixed 1:1 material ratio, with no gear or transfer pumps needed, and a power ratio of 15:1 with the 7" Patriot Powerslide Powerhead.
This system was designed for use with the hardest and most critical application which is the very accurate small shot size of mixed metered materials. The combination of the balanced Patriot Chop Check Fluid Sections, balanced Patriot Powerslide Powerhead and the 1:1 ProGun is the key to achieving excellent metering performance with medium viscosity materials.
The single Powerhead drives the two fluid sections through a heavy duty guided linkage assembly, eliminating the need for transfer pumps and gear pumps which greatly simplifies day-to-day use and maintenance.
This system also features pneumatic compensating cylinders in each of the two material platforms. If the fluid levels vary between the containers, the pneumatic cylinders self-adjust to the material levels automatically during the pump priming of materials.
Safety is also a concern with any system, and the Patriot 1:1 Adhesive & Sealant Chop Check System incorporates material manifold blocks mounted above the fluid sections which include 3,000 psi gauges. 1/2" ball valves and a safety shut off device. This safety device will shut off the operating air supply, not allowing the fluid pressure to exceed 2500 psi.
