NEW SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR PRECISE METERING AT LOW FLOW RATES
Kent, WA - Magnum Venus Plastech Introduces MicroPro Proportioning System at JEC 2010
Magnum Venus Plastech has designed a new proportioning system that is ideal for precision metering at low flow rates called the MicroPro Proportioning System. They unveiled this new system during the recent JEC Expo in Paris.
The MicroPro Proportioner System is a new mix/meter dispense system which brings innovative new technology to processes that require very precise metering at low flow rates, and ability to handle a wide range of materials and applications.
The MicroPro is the system to use for low flow rate metering of many Epoxy, Urethanes and Silicone materials. It is ideal for low and high pressure applications with material viscosity from 20 cps to 40,000 cps, at flow rates under a half gallon/minute (1.893 L/min.).
This versatile system works with many application methods including spray, splatter, pour, RTM and also as a table-top proportioner.
The MicroPro Proportioner uses a balanced air motor to drive a heavy duty linkage drive with upper and lower slotted tracks for setting exact ratios. The standard pumps used are two VHPC-2200 Pumps are stainless steel with the cylinder and piston rods made of hardened 440 stainless steel. These two pumps have a volumetric ratio range of 1:1 to 3.7:1 with optional fluid sections available for ratios as low as 10:1.
The standard configuration includes two 5-Gallon (18.93 liter) gravity feed Polyethylene containers with options for larger containers and desiccant filters installed in the container lid.
The MicroPro Portioner uses the tried and true technology of the 1:1 Pro Gun in either the hand-held or automatic configuration. This gun is made of stainless steel with a wear-resistant 440 hardened stainless steel valve rod. The Pro Gun has been the leader in the industry for over 20 years, and remains unmatched in performance.
When low flow rates and precise metering are needed, such as RTM or thin film coatings, the MicroPro portioner cannot be matched.
