M.V.P. President Joins ACMA Board

Kent, WA - Magnum Venus Plastech (M.V.P.) President Jim Hedger, Jr. Joins ACMA Board

Magnum Venus Plastech is excited to announce that our company President, Jim Hedger, Jr. has been invited to join the board of the ACMA and has accepted.

Having worked in the Composites Industry for most of his career, Jim has had the opportunity to watch the changes that have taken place in this growing industry through the years. As the President of Magnum Venus Plastech, Jim, through the company, has had a hand in influencing many of the changes in equipment, processes and technology that have shaped the direction of the industry. When government standards began changing toward extremely low Styrene emissions, M.V.P. took the lead in providing customers with the best option to meet these new standards: Fluid Impingement Technology (FIT®).

After its release, M.V.P. worked very closely with the ACMA in testing the benefits of FIT®, and that technology has become the standard for open mold processes.

M.V.P. has been a long standing member of the ACMA, and believes that the organization is vital in moving the Composites Industry into the future where governmental restrictions become even tougher, requiring new innovations that will keep manufacturers running safely, efficiently and profitably. To this end, through the recent purchase of Plastech technology and expertise, M.V.P. now stands poised to further help the industry meet these tougher governmental restrictions around the world. Jim is looking forward to working with the ACMA on developing a new certification courses that will focus on making cleaner technology, like RTM, a vital component of Composites production in the future.

Jim accepted the position on the ACMA board to help bring more customers to the organization and to ensure that producers know what the organization is doing for them. Says Jim on why he accepted the position, "I wanted to be able to share my opinions of what we (M.V.P.) see happening in the industry worldwide."
