M.V.P. Changes Company Name

Kent, WA - M.V.P. Will Now Be Known As Magnum Venus Plastech

Magnum Venus Products, world-wide leader in composites equipment manufacturing, would like to announce that with the merger of MVP and Plastech T.T., a new era has begun for the company. And, with that new era, comes a new name - Magnum Venus Plastech.

In September of 2000 Magnum purchased Venus-Gusmer and the two companies became one as Magnum Venus Products. Now, as MVP looks to the future of FRP production, they have seen the steady move of the industry toward more closed mold (RTM) production. So, MVP turned their attention to providing their customers with the highest level of technology and expertise available for the RTM process, and that led to the purchase of Plastech T.T.

Now that the three leading FRP equipment companies have become one, it seemed only logical the company name should reflect that unity. Thus effective December 1, 2006 Magnum Venus Products will now be known as Magnum Venus Plastech.

"We are all very energized by the possibilities presented in the merger of these companies," says Joan Tracy, Vice-President of Marketing and International Sales for MVP. "The change in the company name reflects an exciting new direction for us, and I know the new technologies that will come from the joining of Plastech's RTM expertise with MVP's top quality engineering and production will benefit the industry as a whole."
