Magnum Venus Products (M.V.P.) to Open MVP Technology Center

Kent, WA

Magnum Venus Products, industry leader in  leading-edge FRP equipment technology, is currently undergoing a company-wide  reorganization as they convert their Kent, Washington manufacturing facility into the exciting new MVP Technology   Center.

Realizing how quickly things can change in the  composites industry, MVP made the decision to change the focus of their Kent facility  from manufacturing standard systems, to a focused Research & Development  center. With many of the industry's leading experts in engineering and  fabrication, MVP remains committed to developing the future of FRP technology.  The expanded facilities will allow for dedicated research into several new  applications for the composites industry. With the trend moving from open-mold  operations to closed-mold, the MVP   Technology Center  will have an RTM lab devoted to advances in the RTM process through the  PrecisionTECHTM RTM line.

The MVP   Technology Center  will also include expert technical training classes for customers from around  the world. Featuring dedicated demonstration areas, as well as larger class  room facilities, operators will be able to get hands-on training on the systems  used in their operation.

All advanced equipment, including filament winders,  reciprocators, impregnators and PrecisionTECHTM RTM systems will continue to be  manufactured by the specialists in the fabrication team at the Kent facility.

Completion of the MVP Technology   Center is scheduled for  the end of the fourth quarter 2004.
