Magnum Venus Products Cipher Gun Also Improves Operator Comfort
Clearwater, FL
Improved performance and greater operator comfort are promised by a new airless, internal-mix chop-and-spray impinge gun from leading manufacturer Magnum Venus Products. M.V.P. made the official announcement today of a new gun using the patent allowed FIT (Fluid Impingement Technology), called the Cipher Gun. The company unveiled the new gun at the CFA Composites 2001 Exhibition. M.V.P. will officially release this product to their Distribution Network during the Global Distributor Conference Nov. 7 - 10, 2001 at its Kent, Washington facility. "The Cipher gun offers the same benefits of airless, internal mixing that were built into the M.V.P. ProGun", said Vice-President of new Product Development Tom Hedger. Both guns mix resin and catalyst, chop fiberglass and spray both catalyzed resin and glass. Major improvements in the new gun include a hard anodized head, light weight design (over a pound lighter than any competitor's gun) and simplified operation. The Cipher Gun is the first to incorporate Rapid Access Design (R.A.D.) allowing for quick replacement of gun seals. In addition, the simplified design has fewer parts than its predecessor, keeping maintenance costs to a minimum.
Using the newly patent allowed FIT technology the Cipher Gun has the lowest emissions of any gun on the market, meeting and exceeding all MACT and EPA emissions compliance standards. With less over-spray there is less clean up and significant material savings.
The Cipher Gun is destined to be a must-have in all chop-and-spray impinge operations.
