For over four decades, Precision Tank has led the way as an innovative supplier of tanks, applicators and specialized equipment for agribusiness, fire protection, civic, petroleum and industrial needs. Precision’s product line now includes a full range of fiberglass, stainless steel, and mild steel tanks for various industries. Precision Tank also offers a full line of “field tough” liquid and dry application equipment for fertilizer dealers and custom applicators.
On August 5th, Precision Tank hosted customers, vendors, local officials and other guests to an open house at their newest 35,000 square foot facility in Humboldt, Iowa. The event included plant tours with demonstrations of manufacturing equipment, and a fiberglass tank was filament wound on the newly installed MVP Helical UltraWinder. The Humboldt facility will focus on manufacturing fiberglass tanks along with stainless and mild steel tanks. The increased production capacity and custom fabrication capabilities, along with improved logistics will enhance Precision’s ability to respond to customer and market needs.
